Resources

We provide skill development for immigrant students such as academic mentoring and workshop instruction as well as professional development networking.  Based on our experience, we believe that student success does not simply come from attending classes but also is supplemented by the ways students engage the campus academically and socially.

Therefore, we provide students important information like helping them to create realistic goals, assist them with planning to reach their goals, refer them to suitable resources, and lead them to understand why they are in college and why that matters. Part of our academic resource services are to help students the following topics:
1) Successful application for scholarship and financial aid resources
2) Appropriate participation in a student association
3) Volunteer, Internship, work-study, and career links
4) Resume development
5) Tips on job interviews
